Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Cool Apps LLC ("we," "us," "our") handles information when you use diyprojectestimator.com (the "Site").
Information you enter into calculators
The measurements and prices you type into our calculators are processed in your own browser to show your results. We do not collect, store or send those numbers to our servers.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically record basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and the date and time of your visit. This information is used to operate, secure and improve the Site.
Cookies and advertising
We use Google AdSense to show ads, which keeps the Site free. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads and measure their performance.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this Site and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this Site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.
To learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland will be asked for consent before personalized ads or related cookies are used, as required by law.
You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect the ads you see but will not stop the calculators from working.
Analytics
We may use privacy-respecting analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use the Site in aggregate (for example, which calculators are most popular). These tools may use cookies. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Emails you send us
If you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message. We use this only to respond to you and do not sell or share it.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that help us run the Site (such as our hosting provider and advertising partners) under their own privacy policies, or disclosed if required by law.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, including California and other US states, you may have rights to know about, access, delete or opt out of certain uses of your personal information. Because we do not collect calculator inputs or create user accounts, we generally hold little or no personal information about visitors. To make a request, contact us at the email below.
Children's privacy
The Site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Links to other websites
The Site may link to other websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last changed.
